Chris Dale
has gained experience from a broad background through
senior roles in selling, marketing and buying with major
Blue Chip FMCG companies in the food and drinks market
(Brooke Bond Oxo, Glaxo, Grand Met Brewing), as well as
extensive experience as a Director of a Major retail
buying group in the UK (Nisa-Today’s), where he held
several roles in buying, group services and development. In
particular a specialist knowledge of the UK’s independent
retail, cash & carry and delivered wholesale market
covering all foods, drinks and non food disciplines as
well as hands on experience in developing promotional
strategies to re-launch or develop well established and
new businesses.
One of his
many key successes was the creation, launch and
development of the Cellars International range of private
label beers, wines and spirits, now a well established
range.
He also has
a great interest in aviation, a Private Pilot himself, he
has in recent years spent some time re-launching a local
flying school with a new strategic direction to build new
business and modernise the school and flying club
facilities.
Chris
also co-owns a Flying School that he set up with a partner
in 2006. The POM Flying Group is based at Humberside
International Airport and with it's own team of
instructors and examiners is a thriving Flying Club as
